REPJA x WIZ KHALIFA x COMPLEX MAG
Pittsburgh’s rising rap star, Wiz Khalifa was featured on the cover of Complex Magazine’s 9th Anniversary Issue wearing a RepJA “Gully” t-shirt. This came as a HUGEEEE! surprise to us. Now i doubt Wiz knows the difference between Gully and Gaza but somehow that shirt meant enough to him that it was chosen for the cover of the Complex Magazine shoot.
The term GULLY was coined by Dancehall Artist Mavado. Jamaica was divided as a country in 2010 due to the feud better Mavado (Gully) and Vybz Kartel (Gaza). We released both the Gully and the Gaza shirts when there was a truce between both parties.
Wiz wearing the Gully Tee gave Jamaica a whole new boldness (especially di gully god fans). Our culture, our designs breaks all barriers and even without knowing the true meaning it still means something to everyone.

Also, check out the Behind-the-Scenes video of Wiz Khalifa alongside Danny McBride.
