Last night we met up with Rish Freelance writer for Largeup / Okayplayer / MTV and countless other sites/blogs. Rish was visiting Atlanta for business and reached out to us via email to link up when he arrived. After reading the initial email we responded immediately. We sent a few emails back and forth exchanged #’s and worked out the meeting details.

We arrived at the Artmore hotel clearly later than our 9:00pm scheduled meeting time lol (hey! don’t judge, we had a few minor setbacks along the way.. car wouldn’t start and ting but that’s another story lol ). We pulled up around 9:15 and of course there’s no where to park (hmmm). look like just a valet ting.. suh it guh!

As we entered the open courtyard/bar a hand full of people were relaxing in the very comfortable looking couches, a waterfall fountain with flames raging in the center demanded your attention instantly. After a quick observation of our surrounding we spotted Rish (Big Hair, Beanie cap cotch pan di side with a NY logo on it (yeah ah him dat). We greeted each other sat down and just hol’ a vibe. We talked about any and everything from fashion to music local to international, 45′s, DJ’s, Brooklyn, Heavy D, Cool Herc and the list goes on. The conversion , di vibe just build naturally, nothing felt forced it was organic.

To us this was our first REAL interview. Yes! we have given interviews in the past however this was different, this didn’t feel like an interview we just ah vibe and ah reason. We liked this approach it gave us a chance to just be ourselves and not give structured robotic answers to generic questions. We wrapped up after 11pm, almost 2 hrs damnnnn!! it only felt like 30 mins still. Time really flies when your having fun!!

We laced Rish with 2 shirts he had his eye on (BEENIE/BOUNTY unitee and the Girls Dem Sugar). We appreciate Rish Taking his time out to show RepJA some love.

It’s Halloween weekend, we nuh really inna di duppy ting lol but we ago show Rish how ATL party yuh zeet! Bless up mi bredda!!
